IRIS Pay is launching the campaign "Pay Directly from Your Bank Account and You Could Win Gold", with UBB joining as a Gold Partner to give its customers the opportunity to take part.

From 1 June to 31 August 2026, UBB retail customers can participate in the campaign by choosing IRIS Pay when paying participating merchants. Every successful payment above EUR 10 automatically qualifies for the prize draw – with no registration, no forms to fill in, and no additional steps required.

Each month, two UBB customers will win a 1-gram PAMP Fortuna gold investment bar – one of the world's most recognized investment gold products, distinguished by its iconic Fortuna design, featuring the Roman goddess of prosperity, luck, and abundance.

What is IRIS Pay?

IRIS Pay allows you to make payments directly from your bank account to the merchant's account.

The process is simple. When you see IRIS Pay offered as a payment method by a merchant, you simply select it, choose your bank, and confirm the payment through the UBB mobile or online banking service you already use.

There is no need for additional registration, installing a new application, or entering card details.

IRIS Pay can be used in several ways:

IRIS Pay by Click – directly at checkout in an online store;

IRIS Pay by Link – via a payment link received through SMS, Viber, or email;

IRIS Pay by QR – by scanning a QR code and confirming the payment through mobile banking.

Payments made with IRIS Pay are standard bank transfers from your account to the merchant's account and are charged according to UBB's Tariff of Fees and Commissions for Individuals.

As part of UBB's everyday banking plans, internal bank transfers are free of charge, while both internal and interbank transfers are free under the Smart+ plan.

This makes payments even easier and more convenient... with one important difference: this summer, every IRIS Pay transaction gives you a chance to win gold.
